Исход поединка решал один судья, он ожидаемо отдал 60–54 в пользу молодого англичанина, которые впервые прошел всю дистанцию боя и одержал третью победу на профи-ринге.

В главном бою шоу в Лондоне британец Джо Джойс (15–0, 14 КО) сенсационно проиграл китайцу Чжану Чжилею (24–1–1, 19 КО).
